Welcome to the Nar-Anon Global Online Region website. We are glad you found us. Nar-Anon Family Groups are primarily for you who know or have known a feeling of desperation concerning the addiction problem of someone very near to you. You are not alone. We have traveled that unhappy road too, and found the answer with serenity and peace of mind.
Nar-Anon Family Groups are a worldwide fellowship for those affected by someone else’s addiction. Through the various Nar-Anon groups, we share our experience, strength, and hope to help each other. Nar-Anon began in the 1960’s as local in-person support groups, grew to include in-person groups around the world, and since 2020 has grown further with online / virtual / hybrid groups using video teleconferencing technology.
The Nar-Anon Global Online Region consists of a number of online/virtual Nar-Anon groups who have global membership, and do not belong to a specific geographical region. If you are looking for the World Service serving the entire world-wide Nar-Anon fellowship, see nar-anon.org. The Global Online Region of Nar-Anon Family Groups was created March 21, 2021. Originally when it started, it had seven groups, but has steadily grown since then.
